HVAC Technician

The position of an HVAC Service Technician is to deliver exceptional HVAC service maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems and to oversee the work of the HVAC Service Apprentice to ensure all work is performed correctly.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform a thorough and accurate HVAC inspection including Health and Safety Checklist and communicate findings to the customer in a written option sheet.
• Perform all HVAC repairs and replacements to applicable codes.
• Complete all required documentation on services and collect, record and deliver fees to designated office administration.
• Facilitate order for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of service.
• Submit purchase orders to dispatch or other designated purchasing team administrators. • Transport materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• EPA Certified. • Nate certification preferred.
• Have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of verifiable work experience in the HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of the fundamental operational functionality of residential air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment.
• Able to troubleshoot problems with refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems on HVAC equipment.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule (including weekends).
• Must be able to use a computer tablet, smart phone and read a map or follow GPS.
• Valid driver’s license, and approved to drive by Company’s insurance carrier.

Installer

The position of an HVAC Installer is to deliver exceptional HVAC installation service to the customer by completing and installing HVAC equipment and accessories.

Job Responsibilities:

• Installing HVAC-related equipment.
• Installing Sheet metal duct systems.
• Connecting gas lines to heating equipment.
• Cutting and threading pipes.
• Wiring both line voltage and low voltage to heating equipment.
• Installing copper refrigerant line to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing. • Inspect the area for cleanliness after the job is completed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• EPA Certified 608 Licensing (CFC) required.
• Nate Certification preferred.
• Prior work experience in the HVAC industry as an HVAC Install Apprentice preferred.
• Must be able to use a computer tablet, smartphone and read a map or follow GPS
• Valid driver’s license, and approved by Company’s insurance carrier.

Dispatcher / Office Administrator

Requirements for the Dispatcher are, but not limited to, the following:

• Minimum of 3-5 years dispatch related experience; HVAC experience will be helpful.
• Outbound Sales Experience (Cold Calling, Lead Generated List, Existing Customer List) needed.
• Coordinate appointments for technicians at customer sites to maximize productivity and be the liaison between the company, technician and customer. Dispatching and Routing skills are a plus!
• Data entry skills required – Meticulous attention to detail.
• Complete Warranty Parts / Labor Processing for Credit.
• Assigning next day 1st Call for all field staff.
• Strong experience with all Microsoft Office Suites to including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Full-time position Monday – Friday between 7:30am – 4:30pm, however subject to change
• Personable and customer-focused. Must be polite, courteous, and prepared to assist
• Willingness to consistently go above and beyond

Daily Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting with the following:

• Daily multi-phone lines and email interaction with customers, vendors, and technicians
• Must be able to communicate effectively, multi-task, and operate in a fast-paced environment
• Other duties as needed that may arise from time to time
• Processing Warranties, Credits, and Ordering of Parts as needed
• Filing, Customer Service, and more
• Dispatch technicians to service calls and maintain technician schedules
• Schedule calls, enter service calls, and debrief with technicians.
• Contact customers if there is a delay in their scheduled time.
• Geographical knowledge of service area and/or map reading skills
• 100% Schedule adherence expected
