The origin of Loving Air is a tale that proves how hard work, determination, and passion for providing top-notch HVAC services can grow into a successful business that benefits the community.

It started when Shane Loving was young – a local, born and raised in the Fredericksburg area, curious to understand how machines work – found himself alongside his father – a mechanic – asking questions, enjoying the pride of working with his hands and the pleasure of getting machines to work.

Then, three important things happened while he attended Chancellor High School. First, he honed his tech skills in shop class –as he had technical teachers to answer his questions and present more complex machinery.

Second, Shane landed his first job as an HVAC apprentice for a locally owned company, where he learned the importance of customer service, integrity, and a willingness to learn and teach that took root in his character and would serve as the foundation of company culture.

And third (and most importantly) Shane met Tammy, and as luck would have it, he would fall in love. And she would say yes, and her partnership would serve as a source of inspiration and strength – as together they would venture to build a family and a business driven by values and giving back to the community they love.

In time, Shane built a career elsewhere to support his growing family but his passion for HVAC took root and grew concurrently in taking care of HVAC equipment for family, then friends, then referrals. Before long he found he built a modest customer base across 15 years serving as a Master HVAC Technician, and he asked himself as it continued to grow, what potential could be uncovered.

In 2014, Shane decided to take the leap and start his own company. Armed with one cell phone, one truck, and a whole lot of determination – Shane launched Loving Air and the rest, as they say, is history.

From its humble beginnings, Loving Air has grown to include a team of dedicated employees, 13 trucks, and earned a loyal customer base. And best of all, through growth, the values of commitment to family, community and quality service remained the guides for each decision at Loving Air.

And to Shane’s profound delight, as his company and family continue to expand – their children now arrive alongside him with curiosity and questions, and interest in the business. He gets to watch them learn the pride of working with their hands, the pleasure of getting machines to work, the values of service, integrity, willingness to learn and to teach… just as he learned years ago. With their help Loving Air has a bright future with the promise of staying a family owned and operated business for years to come.
